OBT’s Student Performance Series is Back!

OBT loves hosting students and teachers at our Student Performance Series! Enjoy an hour-long curated performance of OBT’s mainstage productions. Educational materials are sent to teachers a week prior to enhance learning.

Hansel and Gretel

Thursday, October 10th at noon Keller Auditorium

Hansel and Gretel’s black-and-white world explodes with color—and candy—when they meet a witch in the woods in this hit ballet from Australian choreographer Loughlan Prior.

Featuring an original score from Claire Cowan and a captivating silent-film-aesthetic, this fresh take on the famous fairy tale delivers the perfect amount of October spookiness.

*Please note this production is best suited for children over 5. Guardians of young and/or sensitive children should use discretion.

George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker^®

Get in the holiday spirit! Join us in the Land of Sweets for Act 2 of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker^® and enjoy Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable score!

*reservations for The Nutcracker must have a minimum of 10 seats and a greater number of student seats than adults

Giselle (performance Friday, Feb 21 Keller Auditorium) and OBT by Design (performance Friday, April 25th Newmark Theatre)

Reservation Policies:

Seats are just $6 with a $3 service fee per order
Paper tickets will not be issued. Your Google Form response will serve as your confirmation. Please give the ushers your school name upon arrival at the theater.
Invoices are sent one month prior to the show. Invoices MUST be paid 2 weeks prior to the show date. Any invoices which remain unpaid after the 2 week mark will result in a release of your seats. You will be held responsible for the cost of reservation unless canceled 2 weeks prior.
No changes in reservations may occur two weeks prior to the show date
Seating assignments, bus parking information, and Study Guide are sent one week prior to the show
Doors open at 11:15. Please allow plenty of time for walking, being seated, and utilizing the restroom.
