Learn about a dance career and what it takes to put on a ballet!

At select times of the year, student groups may tour Oregon Ballet Theatre’s studios and watch student or company dancers training and rehearsing. During this hour-long interactive educational experience, students may visit the costume and production shops and may also get to try out a few steps if space allows.

Most field trips occur between 10 AM to 11 AM on weekdays (Tuesdays/Thursdays preferred) during the school year and can start at 9:30 during the summer. Schedule may be subject to change.

A field trip to Oregon Ballet Theatre studios has an optimal group size of 25 attendees or one classroom of students and chaperones. Please note: school groups with larger class sizes may require special accommodations. Please complete the registration form and an OBT field trip coordinator will contact you.
