Zuzu Metzler | Apprentice

Joined OBT in 2018

Zuzu Metzler is from Camas, Washington. She trained with OBT School, joined OBT2 (our preprofessional company), and became an apprentice in 2018. She was awarded the Elena Carter Memorial Scholarship, and has spent summers at: Pacific Northwest Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, the School of American Ballet, and Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell. Favorite performances and roles include: Nicolo Fonte’s Accidental Signals; Cupid in the Annual School Performance of Don Quixote; and both Harlequin and Marzipan in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®. She has enjoyed being in the corps de ballet for James Canfield’s Romeo & Juliet, and George Balanchine’s Serenade.
