Cameron Pelton was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his training in 2011 through the Estelle Dennis Scholarship at Peabody Conservatory, and later attended the Baltimore School from the Arts. Pelton attended Indiana University for three years, where he took courses in ballet, music, and kinesiology, and joined OBT as an apprentice in 2021. Among the many ballets he has had the pleasure of performing, some of his favorites include Antony Tudor’s Dark Elegies, Jerome Robbins’ Spring, and George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante.
