Leonora Lima is a Master Ballet Teacher with more than 36 years of experience in classical ballet instruction and dance education. She holds an international certification from the Royal Academy of Dance (CBTS – Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies) and has an academic background in Psychology, with a specialization in Psychomotricity and Sports Psychology, as well as an MBA in Art Direction. Her work is deeply rooted in Classical Ballet, seamlessly integrating the principles of Biomechanics, GYROKINESIS®, and GYROTONIC®, creating a comprehensive approach to technical development and artistic expression for dancers.

Currently, Leonora works in the United States as a guest master teacher and choreographer, leading training and mentorship in pre-professional and professional programs. Her methodology combines movement science and classical pedagogy to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and cultivate both technical excellence and artistic expressiveness. Previously, she led a youth company in Brazil for 19 years, directing full- length productions of classical and contemporary ballets, preparing dancers for prestigious schools and professional companies in Europe and the United States. Above all, Leonora believes in a holistic approach to dance education, uniting technical excellence with physical and emotional balance, and preparing dancers for impactful performances that elevate both the artistic and economic value of the institutions they represent.
