Jason Davis, a native of Tucson, Arizona, has been teaching ballet for more than twenty years. He is currently the ballet teacher at Arts and Communication Magnet Academy (ACMA) in Beaverton and the Artistic and Technical Director for Dance West, ACMA’s pre- professional youth company. Jason is also on faculty and serves as rehearsal assistant for The Portland Ballet and teaches at Portland Dance Center. He recently joined the faculty of Oregon Ballet Theatre. Jason has been a guest instructor for numerous programs including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Boston Ballet School, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Columbia Dance Ensemble, BodyVox, Northwest Dance Project, and Repertory Ballet of New Mexico. He trained with Mary-Beth Cabana at Ballet Arts (Ballet Tucson) and later attended San Francisco Ballet School, eventually joining San Francisco Ballet where he performed for eleven seasons in a wide range of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary repertoire.
