Jessica Lind | Soloist
Joined OBT in 2013
Jessica Lind is from San Jose, California, where she began training at Dance Theatre International. Following one year at San Francisco Ballet School, she joined OBT’s Professional Division (2011), became an apprentice (2013), was promoted to company artist (2016), and then to soloist (2019). She also traveled to Copenhagen with five fellow dancers, to attend a Bournonville intensive. As for favorite OBT performances and roles, they are: William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated; the pas de trois in Kevin Irving’s Swan Lake; Purple Girl in Nacho Duato’s Jardí Tancat; Sugar Plum Fairy in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®; Nicolo Fonte’s Left Unsaid, and as Tarantella Girl in August Bournonville’s Napoli.
