In the spirit of community engagement, OBT School will host a series of Sleeping Beauty–themed dance workshops on February 1, 2026, welcoming dancers of all ages and experience levels.
These immersive workshops allow participants to explore classical ballet technique, artistry, and storytelling inspired by the production.
Workshop Offerings Include:

Ages 3–7
Young dancers enjoy a playful, storytelling-based workshop focused on imaginative movement and ballet basics—complete with a special visit from Princess Aurora herself, portrayed by OBT Company Artist Juliette Ochoa, named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch.”
Ages 8–13
Students explore age-appropriate classical technique, musicality, and expressive movement inspired by The Sleeping Beauty, led by Sofiane Sylve.
Ages 11–22 (Intermediate & Advanced)
An elevated session beginning with a warm-up by OBT Soloist Charlotte Nash, followed by repertory coaching with Sofiane Sylve, focusing on stylistic clarity and corps de ballet awareness.

Adult Ballet Dancers (15+)
Adult students work with Charlotte Nash to explore classical vocabulary and excerpts from the ballet, with an emphasis on artistry and musicality.
These workshops reflect OBT’s mission to cultivate lifelong engagement with dance and offer local dancers an inspiring connection to one of ballet’s most beloved works.
