Inclusive Programming

A Place Where Everyone Belongs

Dance is a universal language. OBT’s inclusive initiatives remove barriers and champion diversity to create a safe space for every dancer and audience member.

Welcoming Every Patron

Ballet belongs to everyone, and we’re committed to making the magic of ballet available to everyone in our audiences. Each of our venues offer wheelchair seating and welcome service animals. Additionally, the Keller Auditorium and Newmark Theatre offer booster seats for children. Other accessibility features include audio descriptions and assistive listening devices at select performances, and our sensory-friendly performance of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.®

Whether you’re attending a show at the Keller Auditorium, Newmark Theatre, or The Reser, we make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the show comfortably.

Adaptive Dance Classes

OBT’s adaptive dance classes provide an accessible space for dancers with disabilities to express themselves through movement. We honor each individual’s strengths, helping them celebrate their body and mind on their terms in an environment that’s both uplifting and safe.
