Jamie Lynne Simons | Stage Manager

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jamie ventured to Philadelphia to receive a BFA from the University of the Arts. Their career has varied from large stage opera to black box puppetry, from Las Vegas style shows with pyrotechnics, dancers in feather backpacks, magic, and aerial artists – to, now in the Covid era, also calling live-stream productions with feeds from each artists’ personal home. Nearly five years on Carnival Cruise Lines took Jamie all around the globe – as far west as Melbourne, Australia and as far east as St. Petersburg, Russia. They were also the production stage manager for the Hundred Days tour. Other local credits: Portland Center Stage at the Armory, Portland Opera, Artists Repertory Theatre, Third Rail Repertory, Portland Playhouse, Profile Theatre, Chamber Music Northwest, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Third Angle New Music. Jamie is both a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists and of Actors’ Equity Association – where they sit on the liaison committee for the Portland area.
