Jamie Lynne Simons | Stage Manager
Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jamie traveled to Philadelphia to receive a BFA from the University of the Arts. Their career has varied from large stage opera to black box puppetry, from Las Vegas style shows with pyrotechnics, dancers in feather backpacks, magic, and aerial artists to now in this era, calling live-stream productions with feeds from each performer and production personnel’s home. Nearly five years on Carnival Cruise Lines took them all around the globe – as far west as Melbourne, Australia and as far east as St. Petersburg, Russia. Jamie was also the production stage manager for the Hundred Days tour. Other local credits: Portland Center Stage at the Armory, Portland Opera, Artists Repertory Theatre, Third Rail Repertory, Portland Playhouse, Profile Theatre, Chamber Music Northwest. Jamie is the chair of Portland’s liaison committee for Actors’ Equity Association and is a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists.
