We are thrilled to announce that OBT Executive Director Diane Syrcle and Soloist Candace Bouchard will perform the hymn “How Can I Keep from Singing” at the Equity Foundation Dinner on Wednesday, June 29.

The keynote speaker for the Equity Foundation’s annual event will be Bishop V. Gene Robertson, the first openly gay non-celibate priest ordained as a bishop in the United States. His story is featured in the 2007 feature-length documentary “For the Bible Tells Me So,” and he is the author of “In the Eye of the Storm: Swept to the Center by God,” published in 2008. As an advocate of full civil rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people, he has worked at the state, national and international levels as a speaker and lobbyist for equal protection and full civil marriage rights. It’s sure to be a memorable evening!
