Recognized as one of the pre-eminent ballet schools in the country, the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre (SOBT) is dedicated to the development of professional dancers and knowledgeable audience members. As a professional ballet school, SOBT's mission is to provide the highest quality dance training to all its students. We believe that every student deserves the best instruction possible, whether or not they pursue a career in dance. In turn, we expect each student's best effort. A quality school is fundamental to the future of Oregon Ballet Theatre (OBT) and to ballet itself. SOBT is a training ground for the OBT Company and for professional companies worldwide.
