Share the Wonder
IT ONLY TAKES $15 FOR YOU TO SHARE ONE OF OUR MOST TREASURED HOLIDAY TRADITIONS WITH SOMEONE IN NEED.

Since 2008, Oregon Ballet Theatre has brought The Nutcracker’s holiday joy to thousands of under-served children and families in our community by providing them with free tickets to attend a performance

Last year, we shared the wonder with over 1,200 people. This year we plan to reach 1,500 people. Will you help us achieve that goal?

You can be the difference in these people’s lives:

  • $15 can send one child to experience a magical break from her hospital routine;
  • $45 can send that child and her parents to create memories as a family;
  • $75 can send a low-income family to an enchanted land; and
  • $120 can send eight seniors with limited mobility to relive cherished childhood memories.

The holidays can be an especially tough time for families facing illness or financial difficulties.  Coming to The Nutcracker provides a much-needed respite from hospital visits, loneliness, and financial vulnerability.  It brings people together to connect with others in our community who face similar challenges.

With your help, OBT can create holiday memories for families working towards self-sufficiency, spark wonder in children fighting illness, and provide opportunity for isolated, low-income seniors to participate in one of our most treasured holiday traditions.

Here's what past participants in the "Share the Wonder" program have said about their opportunity to see The Nutcracker...
