In what was the most impressive array of dance talent to ever share a Portland stage, DANCE UNITED brought together local artists and dancers from world-class companies across North America to perform in support of OBT. 2,750 people purchased tickets to the nearly sold out benefit, raising $330,000. In addition, nearly 1000 people to date, from 26 states, have donated more than $500,000.
“All of us at OBT are incredibly moved by how many people, not just here but all across the country, have overwhelmingly demonstrated that they care about the arts and the future of professional ballet in this city.” - Christopher Stowell
There's more you can do to support OBT. Every additional dollar that is raised gives us a head start on our 2009-10 goal.
THANK YOU PERFORMANCE SUPPORTERS
