Olivia Ornelas was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and began her training at Ballet Etudes and at Mary Moe Adams Royal Ballet Academy. She joins the company after first being a member of the school’s Professional Division and later as an Apprentice. During her time with the school, Ornelas has performed leading roles in the annual performance including the soloist woman in George Balanchine’s La Source, as GW in Robert Henry Johnson’s Road to the Yellow Carnival, and in Christopher Stowell’s Within Range and Peter and the Wolf (the Cat).
