MAKINO HAYASHI / COMPANY ARTIST
Joined OBT in 2010

Makino Hayashi

Makino Hayashi studied at the Kumomoto Ballet in Japan under Seiko Ban. She joined Colorado Ballet in 2002 as an Apprentice, was promoted to Corps de Ballet in 2004, and joined OBT in 2010. Hayashi has performed the role of Zolma in Giselle and the Odalisques in Le Corsaire and has been featured in works by Christopher Wheeldon, Paul Taylor, Michael Pink and Darrell Grand Moltrie among others.

Hayashi has performed as a Guest Artist with the Washington Ballet, Festival Ballet Providence, The State Street Ballet and the Okamoto Ballet Company in Japan.
