A native of Japan, Ansa studied at Chika Goto Step Works Ballet from 1989 to 2002 and also trained with Damara Bennett at City Ballet School in San Francisco.  She joined OBT in 2003 as an apprentice and was promoted into the company the following season.  Ansa has danced in Rubies, Serenade, il nodo, Façade, Opus 50, and Swan Lake, among other works.
